Empowering yourself to be a more effective leader and an authentic human being, delivering understandable messages – how does this sound?
If you could manifest emotional intelligence in your business calls even when there are difficult conversations, how would this change others’ perceptions of you? What if in your presentations, the delivery of data was presented in the context of a story, engaging your listeners?
Coaching is a special, professional relationship a client seeks out for support in defining goals, professional and personal. There are many reasons for engaging a coach, most commonly – to achieve the next level of career advancement, work-life balance, and developing pathways for goal attainment. Whether you have clearly defined goals or are starting out with ideas and experiencing challenges taking next steps, coaching is developed to meet your needs.
In the first meetings with a new client, I focus on you, and how you are feeling about yourself and your life. Many successful people are very satisfied with certain parts of their lives, and have experienced greater challenges elsewhere. My approach to coaching is multidimensional, understanding what you would like to achieve through coaching – your aspirations and goals. We will consider your experiences that have been sources of satisfaction, and review disappointments and setbacks, learning from your experiences.
One of our first steps will be conducting a life review of the important domains in your life. We will consider your professional and personal identity; the nature of your relationships and level of satisfaction; use of time; current physical health status, and exercise and relaxation practices; enjoyment of romantic, and family time; participation in recreational activities, and pursuit of non-work related interests. The next step we will take is to identify your guiding values, and consider how these are manifested, honored, or neglected in various parts of your life.
In my coaching practice, we work together to clearly define your goals, considered in stages and steps. This may involve developing structures, strategies, and detailed plans and establishing accountability measures to track your progress with action steps. Skill development may be desired for more focused and expansive thinking; multi-dimensional perspective taking; and strategies for enhancing resiliency from any setbacks.
Relationships play a key role in success, depending on your needs the honing of various types of communication skills may be beneficial. Learning from experience is essential in the pursuit of success, you may choose to review personal and situational roadblocks that have been obstacles to your success.
Together, we can develop a vision of you, living your life to the fullest.
