Dr. Sharona Stone
Being a therapist is one of the most rewarding careers I might have chosen, and these feelings permeate the privileged relationship I have with my clients. I believe we are all on a journey through life, and growth is possible if we choose to open ourselves up to acquiring knowledge and emotional understanding.
I have taken many educational paths in professional development, integrating various theoretical perspectives that span from development during pregnancy, infancy, childhood, adolescence, young adulthood to dating, stages of marital relationships, and family life cycles.
Something that makes my practice unique, is that my endless curiosity and thirst for knowledge has led me to actively engage in continuing education, and advanced training in schema therapy, hypnosis, and personal & executive coaching.
My therapeutic style is relational. I am actively engaged in asking questions that invite new perspectives, and entertain new possibilities.
I enjoy the mountains and ocean, snowshoeing, hiking, and spending time with family, playing games, and having fun! I am happily married, and am a proud mother, and grandmother.
